Come On In to the Bean Patch

Some things grow better together.

The Bean Patch is the heart of Human Beans: a cozy little corner for stories, ideas, creative things, and humans figuring stuff out as they go.

It’s part newsletter, part community, and part behind-the-scenes garden shed. This is where we can slow down a little, talk about what we’re making and thinking about, share things that might be useful or delightful, and occasionally wander off down a very interesting side path.

No polished perfection required.

☕ What Is the Bean Patch?

The internet is very good at being loud.

The Bean Patch is meant to be something else.

It’s a place for thoughtful stories, strange little discoveries, humor, creativity, and conversations with some actual dirt under their fingernails. Sometimes we’ll talk about books. Sometimes about making things. Sometimes about starting over, getting older, surviving ridiculous circumstances, or discovering that the plan has once again escaped through an unlocked gate.

Human Beans has been built around one basic idea: people are interesting when we let them be fully human.

Messy counts. Quiet counts. Starting again counts.

The Bean Patch newsletter is where everything happening around Human Beans can meet in one place. You might find:

• 🌿 Stories, essays, and personal reflections, including pieces about creativity, life, reinvention, and whatever has been rattling around in my head lately.

• 📚 News from Human Beans Radio Publications, including new books, upcoming releases, The Tiny Worlds Collection, and peeks at projects still taking shape.

You absolutely do not have to be everywhere.
